I welcome you to our School, home of the finest mechanical engineers. I can assure you, if you're interested in exploring and applying technology, you've come to the right place. We are proud of our diverse student community who benefit from world-class facilities with state-of-the-art equipment providing excellent learning opportunities. The School is proud to attract national as well as international recognition for its programs and services. The programs offer curricula that combine a strong theoretical background with hands-on experience in excellent labs and draw from industry needs. Focus is on teamwork and communication skills. A point of pride for the School is our dedicated faculty members and staff who seek to integrate innovative approaches to instruction. We strive to educate our students to become the best engineers qualified to meet the business challenges of today and beyond. Our partnerships with business, governmental and educational communities are vital components of our day-to-day existence. Our programs complement the student learning experience with aggressive research initiatives in areas. As Dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering, I look forward to continuously developing and implementing strategic initiatives to expand access for incoming students via preparation and placement and enhance the academic quality of our programs, instruction, and student learning, while supporting the roadmap of the KIIT Strategic and Academic Master Plan. Our freshman numbers have continuously increased over the past decade as our reputation (both the University and our School) have grown both nationally and globally.

Our graduates are sought after for their ability to translate what they have learned in the classroom to real-world needs. There is only one certainty in technology: continuous change. We prepare our students to embrace this change. We continuously challenge our students, helping them gain the knowledge and skills necessary to begin a rewarding career and to become a lifelong learner.
